How BTTS Predictions Work
Our neural network binary classifier predicts whether both teams will score at least one goal in a match. Top-flight models are trained on 10 seasons of data across the five major leagues, processing ~700 features including Expected Goals (xG), defensive records, recent scoring patterns, and home/away splits; the seven second divisions use dedicated models trained on their own tier's history, without xG. A high BTTS probability indicates the model expects both sides to find the net — useful for identifying open, attacking matchups.
